The Trinity reveals that God is a relationship of love
The biblical doctrine of the Trinity shows one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Trinity is not a puzzle invented to complicate faith. It is a way of summarizing the biblical witness: there is one God, and the Bible presents the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as fully divine.
This teaching does not arise from an isolated word, but from the whole of Scripture. Christian faith worships one God, not three gods.
Love did not begin at creation
If God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, love did not arise only when creatures were made. God is eternally love in His own life. Creation receives this love; it does not inaugurate it.
This deepens worship. God did not need to create in order to stop being lonely. He created out of goodness and purpose.
Salvation involves the triune God
The Father sends, the Son gives Himself, and the Spirit applies Christ’s work to the heart. Biblical salvation reveals God’s harmonious action in favor of sinners.
For that reason, the Trinity is not a distant detail. It is connected to prayer, the gospel, baptism, and Christian life.
